What’s really in our PLANT-BASED skincare?

Here at NAYDAYA we are proud of the fact we are 100% natural, vegan, fragrance free, and made with certified organic ingredients – but even with natural ingredients, reading cosmetic labels can be super confusing at times. With the Latin names, you're probably still wondering what these ingredients are, and more importantly are they good for me?

As consumers ourselves, we know that feeling all too well. So we have decided to de-code some of our favourite ingredients in our first two products so you know exactly why they are there, and why they will transform your skin.

What’s in SCAR SAVIOUR?

Marshmallow Root

An anti-inflammatory, with high levels of Vitamin D, which increases the natural antioxidants in the skin, clinical studies have shown that the botanical hyaluronic acid from the marshmallow plant aids in the quick healing of wounds, and can reduce the appearance of both old and new scars.

Liquorice Root

Containing the potent antioxidants Glabridin and Licochalcone-A, which have powerful anti-aging and skin-soothing properties, Liquorice Root is a brilliant combatant against hyperpigmentation (like those annoying dark marks as a result of acne or sun spots that just won’t fade).

Turmeric

Turmeric has long been known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant components. Curcumin, the powerful active ingredient found within Turmeric, lowers your body’s response to cutaneous wounds by decreasing inflammation and oxidation, helping them to heal more quickly. Studies have found that turmeric has positive effects on skin tissue and collagen too.

Jojoba Oil

This potent oil contains high levels of Vitamin E, a wonderful antioxidant which helps regenerate skin cells and improve wound and scar healing. Its antibacterial and antimicrobial activity also helps to prevent bacteria in the skin’s pores.
