Cellulite, dimples and texture. Pucker up, we’re diving in.

What Is Cellulite?

Cellulite is the uneven, dimpled texture that forms when fat pushes against connective tissue under your skin. It’s common. It’s natural. And yes, it can show up anywhere—but especially around the legs, bum, stomach, and hips.

What Causes Cellulite?

It’s a mix of Mother Nature and lifestyle, and there’s not one single cause. Cellulite is caused by a combination of genetics, hormones, skin structure, age, lifestyle, and inflammation. Oestrogen dips (hello menopause), poor circulation, collagen breakdown, and water retention also play a role.

Some foods, including processed foods, and those high in sugar and salt, can worsen fluid retention and inflammation, making cellulite look more obvious. But food alone isn’t the villain. Cellulite isn’t about your clothing size.

Why Do I Have Cellulite?

Because you’re human. 90% of us have it, and it just comes down to your skin’s construction.

Got lots of it? Blame biology, hormones, dehydration, and poor lymphatic drainage.

What Helps With Cellulite?

There’s no quick fixes. But yes, you can improve the appearance without invasive procedures. Home remedies for cellulite can be incredibly effective. They include:

- Lymphatic massage: Helps circulation, lymph drainage, and exfoliation.
Silicone massage cups: Increase blood flow, break up fascia tension, improve skin tone. Use with a body oil for glide.

- Body oils + balms with clinically backed ingredients for cellulite: Look for actives like caffeine, retinol, or skin-repairing oils. Daily use is key.

- Movement: Resistance training, walking, rebounding—helps circulation and muscle tone.

- Hydration: Plumps skin, reduces water retention.
