The newest jewel in the NAYDAYA crest is Crowning Glory scalp & hair oil. Made with powerhouse natural ingredients, Crowning Glory is made for those hormonal strands that need a little TLC.
Crowning Glory is unlike most other hair oils on the market. Instead of superficially taming the ends of your hair, it treats your scalp and locks with natural, soothing ingredients, expertly designed to make-over your scalp composition. This is a dream for all new mums experiencing the dreaded postnatal hair changes, or anyone going through a hair-mare.
Before we get into the all the details, we want you to know: we don’t put sh*t in your hair care.
At NAYDAYA, we’re committed to being the change we want to see in the industry. We don’t put scary ingredients in our products. No fillers, no chemicals. Our warrior mums have enough to contend with, without worrying about the safety of their skin and hair care. Here’s a list of some things we say sayonara to:
- Fragrance & Colours
- SLEs, SLs
- Dimethicones, Trimethicones
- Animal Products
Power-house Natural Ingredients
Delight your hair in a sumptuous blend of natural oils, in this antioxidant-rich concoction. Made with Argan and Jojoba oils, Crowning Glory restores shine and moisture to dry, damaged hair. Nettle, Indian Gooseberry and Rosemary extracts are renowned for their ability to reduce hair loss, and improve scalp health. Winner.
Argan oil - Omega me up
Argan is a big baller when it comes to antioxidants. It contains Gamma-tocopherol. This is a powerful antioxidant which helps remove free radicals, thus preventing damage within the hair follicle. Argan oil contains high levels of Omega-9, which helps prevent hair from becoming brittle - because no power-mom wants hair that can’t match her pace.
Jojoba Oil - Scalp makeover
Jojoba oil is a master of mimicry. It closely resembles the natural sebum (gross word, we know, let’s move past it) produced by the skin/scalp hence and can therefore penetrate the skin more effectively than most other oils. This gives your whole scalp the makeover it deserves.
As Jojoba oil closely resembles the natural sebum, it can absorb into the skin effectively to
loosen up dirt and dead skin build up in clogged hair follicles, this in turn results in a
healthier scalp and facilitates growth from dormant follicles.
Rosemary Extract - Antioxidant force
‘Honey, hit me with that purifying rosemary’, we hear the women cry. Rosemary has the highest antioxidant activity. This extract also possesses anti-inflammatory properties which can help counteract irritation on the scalp, resulting in healthy hair follicles.
Vitamin E - Grey, be gone
Oxidative stress in the cells of the hair follicle can result in premature greying as well as hair loss from stressed follicles. Us mums have enough going on in our lives to turn us grey - whether we’re parenting toddlers or teenagers (sometimes it feels like there’s no difference between the two). We need all the help we can get.
Vitamin E keeps the hair follicles in optimum condition, so that the hair is less prone to falling out and the follicles can produce healthy hair.
Hibiscus Extract - Warrior mum, warrior strands
Hibiscus Flower Extract contains L-ascorbic acid, or Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps to boost collagen production in the skin as well as in the cells within the hair follicle. Collagen production helps to keep the scalp in optimum condition to help stop hair fall and strengthen hair.
Amla Extract / Indian gooseberry - Rapunzel me up, babe.
High in Vitamin C and a strong antioxidant, studies have shown that Indian Gooseberry can help generate Dermal Papilla cells of human hair follicles, which in turn prolongs the anagen (growth) phase and reduces hair loss. An increase in Dermal Papilla cells means that more hair strands can grow from the scalp, giving you thicker hair.
Nettle Extract - Hold on to that hair
Nettle Extract is rich in the biologically active compound flavonoids. The flavonoid present in the Nettle leaf extract has been shown in studies to stimulate hair growth. Compounds in Nettle extract help to block hormone related chemical processes which are responsible for certain types of hair loss.
